Loser. The very word causes one’s shoulders to drop. The head to lower. The light to leave the eyes. Discouragement to come. So often it’s not a word others say about us, but what we say about ourselves. Maybe you failed a test. Didn’t meet a goal. Neglected to say/or do what you planned…or what was expected. Have you ever lost your “big break?” The “huge chance?” That “special …..” How many times have you felt like the bottom has fallen out from under you? That the world stopped and nothing has been the same since? Like you’ve put in hour after hour, day after day, time after time, poured your heart and soul into something-or someone-and it simply didn’t turn out like you’d hoped-or even expected?
It’s painful. It hurts. And yes-that’s a little dramatic, but the truth is: The enemy loves to discourage us-to make us think we can never truly “win.” In life. In business. In health. In…..(whatever you’d like to place here.) Please hear me, today…the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Every negative thought or word-champions his cause, NOT yours. You have a dream inside you. You have a purpose on your life. What will you do, now? Stop? Fear? Give up? NO! LOVE. “Perfect love casteth out fear!”
We all have those moments. Those times. Those memories. Let’s just add them to our keyring of life experiences…pick ourselves up…start again…knowing without a doubt *this* key could be the “failure” that opens the next-and BEST-door yet! Whether it’s time for you to start again/start over/pick up where you left off/press reset -and embrace those times…or this moment.
I believe we never lose. We always learn. Do the action/evaluate/adjust/move ahead.
