For years we were taught to be content in whatever state we find ourselves. Not geographically, but in life. Circumstances. Earnings. Relationships. Success. It doesn’t mean we can never earn. If we don’t, with what will we fund our dreams?
I like how one can realize this means you can still go for your dreams-you can still reach for your goals-just be happy while you do. Carry joy deep inside, so whatever circumstances happen around you, you always maintain how you respond. I’m not disregarding my upbringing, simply stating it in a relevant way.
Should we be content? Absolutely! While we do everything we can to live out the purpose He has on our life.
On purpose.
