Having trouble seeing? Clearly? So often we can “describe the problem”–but it’s all in how we look at things. What if we “DECLARE the PROMISE” instead? The choice is ours. Living with joy is not just a nice idea for someone else. It’s a beautiful gift that we all have. A choice. Today. Every day. In every season. 
A farmer knows it takes careful sowing-in good soil, prepared in advance, to expect a good outcome, but that outcome takes many things. It takes time. It takes sun, and rain, and is often surrounded by an unexpected shower of weed seeds by others. The growth comes when it rains/and the sun beats down/and the birds try to carry it away but can’t/and the rocks try to crush out the “happy” but aren’t successful…It’s a process. We have to trust it. I’ve always been known as a positive person, y’all. But…THIS season? Threw me. The bounce-back wasn’t as fast as normal. It’s a choice every day. I’m still bouncing. Still “in the bounce.” 😊
I want to be the flower that brightens someone’s day, possibly when and where they least expect a flower to be growing. The cracked sidewalk of life is a perfect opening to push through and reach for the sun. I always find myself smiling when I see that picture. You know the one? Everything is gray, hard, and dull. But through the crack in the cement, a bright flower pushes forth! Let’s be that flower, y’all. Who needs to see you reach for the sun? 😁☝️🤗🙌 We are attracted to positive, like-minded people. Surround yourself with the same. It makes all the difference!
The enemy knows where to target us. But we can grab a hold to the promises of the Son and declare we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS!!!
Facing something today? You are not alone. Try looking at it through a new set of shades. A positive pair. God’s love can give you the exact prescription you need. He can give you clarity. He can color the lenses through which you view your life. It’s an ongoing journey. Aren’t you glad He is patient with us?
